Indications for Use

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD):

• CKD stages 3–4 according to the IRIS classification;

• CKD at any stage according to the IRIS classification when proteinuria is present;

• Acute kidney injury;

• Uraemic encephalopathy.

• CKD stages 1–2 according to the IRIS classification in the absence of proteinuria;

• Management of urate or cystine urolith formation;

• Hepatic encephalopathy;
